"Hey babe. I would like to remain anonymous...

I feel like starting my own business but I am very nervous. How did you find it when starting your blog post. I have anxiety about it what should I do".
Hi Lovely, thank you so much for sending in your dilemma to 'An Inquisitive Mind' and I hope the advice shared not only helps you but helps others too x

First of all, I would say JUST GO FOR IT!!!! If you have recognised this is something you want, then get your ideas jotted down, plan and execute it ! Honestly, there is no time to waste... especially if this is something you have been dreaming of / wanted to do for some time now.

I understand that it may seem easier said than done, as certain thoughts, nerves amongst other things may distract you from believing you can actually do it. However, please don't let that get the better of you , because you CAN DO IT! and You actually won't know unless you try.
Just imagine in your head what you like about one of your favourite businesses... and then imagine if it didn't exist. Now Imagine just how many people would miss out from the benefits of your business - if it doesn't exist.

Although, I am aware that it may appear that there are quite a few people doing 'similar' things... THEY ARE NOT YOU NEITHER DO THEY HAVE YOUR IDEAS. So stand positive in that fact !
In my 'Welcome! (...so we finally meet)' post
*click here* , I wrote about my process in creating my blog and shared some advice there too.
So, please feel free to check it out ! .

With being the honest person that I am... creating a blog is very different to creating a 'physical' business. So I would also say do your research before splashing the cash on what you 'want'. I would instead advise you to maybe start off small with what you 'need'. Although, don't sell yourself short or minimise your dreams but just be 'smart' with it.

With reference to my blog , I spent quite some time planning what I would need before making purchases for certain equipment, tools etc... I also then made a plan as to how I was going to go about it - cutting costs where needed as I knew that I was only starting out.

Even though, I may not know your financial situation ... still do play smart when it comes to the cost of running things-because you want to gain a profit not lose out.
(Although, money shouldn't be your only motivation).

At the end of the day... I hope that you do take up the chance and the opportunity to creating your business. If it is something that you TRULY want then please don't be the person that get's in the way of your own dreams.
I understand that 'failure' may seem scary , as no one wants to say they had a 'failed business' but at least you can say that you tried...and if all does fail you can start again ! There is honestly no need to be embarrassed, for you've only got one life to live. So, live it for you and not for others.

*Personally, I believe that it is better to fail trying than to not try at all... I believe that is REAL failure*.

I hope it all works out for you, wishing you the best ! Please do get in touch and let me know how you've gotten on x

Love, Light and Appreciation,
Esther from 'An Inquisitive Mind' x
